Lachlan Blair in Year 6 recently received a Chinese language award.
The Australia-China Friendship Society of Western Australia (ACFSWA) Chinese Language Students Awards are annual awards designed to honour and encourage those students who have made a significant effort towards the study of Chinese language and culture throughout the year. This year’s awards ceremony was held at the end of October and Lachlan received a certificate and a medal for his efforts in the category ‘Chinese as a Second Language’.
Lachlan was nominated for the award because he is a conscientious student that takes great interest in his own learning. He continually seeks out ways to extend his grasp and understanding of both the Chinese language and culture.
Well done Lachlan, we are very proud of your achievement!
