On Thursday 26th July the year twos headed off on the bus to the Canning River Eco Education Centre in Wilson. Upon arrival the children looked through the centre’s display of the varied animals, flora and fauna that can be found along the Canning River. Next the children visited Pobblebonk swamp to learn lots of new information about the many different species of frogs such as the Motorbike frog and Western Banjo frog that are found in and around the Canning River. After listening to the information, the children got to explore outside along the river banks to see and hear the frogs they had learnt about. The children learnt a lot of new information in preparation for building their very own KCS frog habitat.
