I do hope that you have all had a wonderful Easter and break with your kids. We are looking forward to having them all back next week for what is set to be another great term of learning and special events.
Following hard on the heels of our students gaining fifth place in the Australian Times Tables competition at the end of Term 1, we are proud to announce that nine of our students are advancing to the State/Territory Finals in the Prime Minister's Spelling Bee! We congratulate Amelia C, Amber B, Audrey C, Peter L, Nicholas L, Oliver T, Ruby T, Pippa W and Greta C. We wish them all the very best in the State/Territory finals being held on 29th April.
We are happy to announce that Mrs. Natalie Carter has been appointed to replace Lark Langridge as Education Assistant in Year 3 class for three mornings a week. Natalie has worked here before, undertaking her main placement with us while training.
The school most unexpectedly received the resignation of Rev Oey from the Chaplaincy role at the start of the Term break. This however will in no way diminish our full commitment to providing students with appropriate support as we consider future actions. Mrs Wheat is already onto finding a suitable replacement for those students who had him as a music tutor.
