March has been a busy month, with the Swimming Carnival and Harmony Day activities and assembly. Our Year 3 teachers are super proud of our performance of ‘Vulindhlela’ – a song in Zulu which we had great fun presenting to the school.
Last Friday we took turns drawing, measuring and recording the length of the sun’s shadow as part of studies in Science. This week we’ll be constructing a bar graph to show our results, so we’re learning maths at the same time.
Speaking of time, we’ve made our own analogue clocks using a plastic plate, stickers (for the numbers) and arrows for the hour and minute hands.
