The end of a term and the beginning of the next often brings staffing changes and so it has been the case once again.
Miss Menagè, who has spent the last five years teaching in upper primary, will be taking a year-long sabbatical to travel abroad. Miss Menagè has been a dynamic force within our school community and brought her own special brand of creativity, passion and energy to her role of teacher. She will be sorely missed, but we wish her well in the new adventure she is about to embark upon and look forward to welcoming her back in 2019.
We are sad to be saying goodbye to Mr Mullender, who has accepted a teaching position at a Christian school down south. Mr Mullender and his family are making a sea change and moving down to the idyllic town of Dunsborough where he will no doubt not only embrace the new challenges that await, but also enjoy the change of pace in this holiday town. We wish him all the best for the future.
Exciting times ahead! Another member of staff who will be leaving us is Mrs Burne. She is going on maternity leave at the end of the year. All the best Mrs Burne, we will all be thinking of you as you prepare to meet Baby Burne.
Whilst the Year 5 and 6 positions will be filled internally, we are currently running a series of interviews for the Year 4 position and look forward to announcing the successful candidate shortly.
Once all teaching staff allocations have been finalised, we will notify you of the teachers appointed to each grade.
