Music Program 2018

As the school year of 2017 is quickly passing by, preparation is already underway for the 2018 musical year.

In order to confirm numbers for instruments and tutors required for next year, registrations for next year’s music program are needed by Friday 20th October.

Note: If your child has been in the music program for 2017 and no longer wishes to continue, please advise us by email or via the online form by the above date.

Music Program 2018 Information

At Kalamunda Christian School we value all areas of learning and hope to provide students with a balanced education. Research shows that playing music can make significant differences to children’s abilities related to learning, memory and social interactions.

Instrumental Lessons

We are pleased to be able to offer the choice of the following instrumental lessons for students from Year 4 to 6 in 2018:

The cost for instrumental lessons are as follows:
  • Year 4 students - free tuition as part of our music scholarship program for all Year 4 students.
  • Year 5-6 students - tuition fees charged as per the following table:

Instrument Rental

Students in the music program may use their own instrument, or may hire one from Kalamunda Christian School for 2018. The above instruments marked with a * above will be available to hire from the school. The rental cost for these instruments is $75 per term.

Registration for 2018 year 5 and 6 Students

If you would like to enrol your child in the music program and/or rent an instrument from the school for 2018, please register your child by Friday 20th October. If you wish to rent an instrument we will provide you with the rental forms required.

Note: If you have a child in Year 4 in 2018 and have returned your music scholarship application form there is no need to register them above, only a rental form if required.
