[ Please note that any Year 4 music scholarship applications need to be submitted here ]
As the school year of 2020 is quickly passing by, preparation is already underway for the 2021 musical year.
The tutors have been very impressed with the skills and musicianship developed by the children, despite the difficult circumstances, throughout this last year.
In order to confirm numbers for instruments and tutors required for next year, registrations for next year’s music program are requested by Monday 16th November.
Note: If your child has been part of the instrumental program in 2021 but no longer wishes to continue, please advise us by email by the above date to anne.wheat@kalamundacs.wa.edu.au.
At Kalamunda Christian School we value all areas of learning and hope to provide students with a balanced education. Research shows that playing music can make significant differences to children’s ability related to learning, memory and social interactions, improve both fine and large motor coordination and support the development of language patterns, vocabulary and articulation.
The tutors and I have been very impressed with the skills and musicianship developed by your children, despite the difficult circumstances, throughout this last year. We would like to thank all our wonderful students and parents for their support this year and look forward to seeing our budding musicians continue their great work in 2021.
