New Student Orientation Day

We would like to make our new students feel very welcome and comfortable at Kalamunda Christian School and invite all new students to attend an orientation day on Monday 21 November.

Our new student orientation is a day where new students from Pre-Primary to Year 6 due to commence at Kalamunda Christian School next year are invited to join their class group for the day. The children are able to meet their new classmates and have an opportunity to hear about our programs and the wonderful way in which our school works.

When:

Monday 21 November 2016

Time:

Please plan to arrive at the school office between 8:00am – 8:15am so your child can be escorted to their classroom for the start of class

Wear:

Current school uniform

You may wish your child to attend until lunch time or through to the end of the day.

Please complete the online RSVP form to confirm your child’s attendance.

What to Bring

Children attending will need to bring the following for the day:

  • Hat.
  • Water bottle.
  • A small container of chopped up, non-dripping fruit or vegetables for ‘sip and crunch’ time (to be taken into class first thing in the morning).
  • Recess snack foods and lunch (please note that there is no canteen available on this day).

Emergency Information, Allergies and Medications

In case of emergency parents are asked to complete a contact details form on the day.

If your child has any anaphylactic allergies, or requires any medications please supply these on the day along with your doctor’s action plan.
