Senior Choir Performance

Sunday 28 July 2019

At Kalamunda Christian School, we strive to be a light in the community. We also wish to provide opportunities for our students to develop and share their God-given gifts

Our Senior Choir has been invited to shine their light by sharing a performance at a local Kalamunda event: Church Link’s 10th Anniversary. Please note that we are collecting RSVPs for children attending for the planning of the performance.

Church Links is a group formed by previous KCS staff member Margaret Brodie to unite the churches of Kalamunda and enable stronger links between the services and opportunities that each church provides. The group meets approximately three times per year and are often joined by local school chaplains sharing their knowledge and experiences. This event is a celebration of 10 years of meeting together and the theme is ‘The Church as a Community’. At Kalamunda Christian School we are proud to be part of that community.

The Senior Choir will be performing their item from our Easter Celebration, ‘Calvary’ (by Reuben Morgan and Jonas Myrin).

Where: Holy Family Catholic Church, Burt St, Kalamunda
When: Sunday 28th July 2019, from 2:00pm – 3:00pm
Time: Please arrive at the venue at 1:30pm
Wear: Formal school uniform with blazer and polished shoes

Please indicate if your child will attend or not for the planning of the performance.

Participation in this event is optional. Parents are invited to stay for the service, and at the conclusion there will be a shared afternoon tea. Alternatively, if you do not wish to stay, students may leave discreetly through the side door of the church at the conclusion of the choir item. Please let us know in advance whether your child will stay for the remainder of the service or whether they will be collected from the left side door.
