Chess Club

The Kalamunda Christian School chess club meets fortnightly on Tuesday afternoons straight after school from 3:15pm - 4:15pm.

Students from Years 4 - 6 have the opportunity to learn how to play chess, coached by Rory Minchington, a past student of our school.

The cost for Chess Club is $20 for each term. Cash payments are to be made to Rory at the first session of each term.

Please check the school calendar for chess club dates.

Collection of Students from Chess Club

Please note that students attending chess club will be asked to remain in the library with the teachers until they are collected at 4:15pm.

Thank You

We would like to take this opportunity to thank Rory Minchington for running this fantastic after school activity.

Rory is a past student of Kalamunda Christian School and is the son of our school librarian, Shona Minchington. Rory loves the game of chess (he was also the SCEA Chess Champion winning Kalamunda the shield with his team and individual champion overall). He is excited to be sharing this with our students.
