Children will be formed by the environment in which they are immersed. These influences may not always clear from the outside but have significant impact on the individual.
We believe that an integral part of any child's education should include some contemplation of the big questions such as Who am I? Why am I here? What is my purpose? Where am I going? These are questions that develop our mindset, inform our thinking and will shape how we respond to the world.
All our teachers have a real and personal faith in Jesus Christ. They endeavour to provide a stimulating and engaging learning environment where students learn skills and develop abilities to reach their potential. Christian faith is integrated into all aspect of school life, including the curriculum, the pastoral programs, our behaviours and friendships, and our student leadership development.
In a world faced with restlessness and uncertainty, the need for hope is becoming more apparent. There is a great focus on physical and emotional well-being, but it is also imperative that we nurture the spiritual well-being of our children. In sharing the Christian faith with our students and broader community, we provide them with the opportunity to develop an understanding of who they are and their purpose. We strive to foster discernment in our students, helping them to think about their world and give them guidance to make wise choices as they become the decision makers of the future.
As a Christian School, we believe that each member of our community is loved by God, and is therefore deserving of respect and kindness. By promoting and aspiring towards the values implicit in the gospels, it is our intention to demonstrate a commitment to others through our school values of honour, integrity and humility.
